Before we begin with the paltry news barrage, MetalFront would like to offer its best wishes to Ol Drake, guitarist of Evile, on a speedy recovery. Drake collapsed at a gig the other night [link] and fractured his jaw, causing Evile to cancel their tour in support of Satyricon. The band made a point to note that Drake does not drink and the collapse was due to an as-yet undiagnosed medical issue. Hope all is well, brother!
Cannibal Corpse just wrapped up a photo shoot [link] with Decibel magazine. They recently finished recording their latest opus of horror, Evisceration Plague, due for release in February of 2009.
